- An app for people who are experiencing grief and loss, and for those who are supporting them.
- It can help you feel less alone on your grief journey with support from an online community.

This app has been designed to provide grief support to anyone who is experiencing the pain of grief. Once you register you can select tailored support for the type of grief you're experiencing including, but not limited to, bereavement, loss of a pet, a relationship ending or caring for someone who's unwell.
On the main page, there's a daily check-in with the option of short activities to complete such as recording morning thoughts and ideas for a daily practice. It includes helpful information and articles relating to grief and how it can affect your body and mind. There are questions relating to the grief experience which you have the option to post an answer to or ask a question, and view other people’s posts.
Separate to the main page, there are the following four tabs: Today, Explore, Community and Support.
- Explore has further resources and articles, activities and online courses.
- Support provides information on groups and upcoming events.
- Note, if you subscribe to the paid version ‘Griefity Plus’, you can access online video or phone call support and receive 30 days of email support.

Comments: This is a wonderful app designed with input from people all around the world who have experienced grief. It acknowledges all kinds of grief and offers personalised support depending on the kind of grief you're experiencing.
It offers a good balance of information, activities, resources and recommendations. The function where you can pose questions, add and read comments from other users, helps foster a sense of community during what can be a very lonely experience.
It's a free app and 95% of the content is available for free. There's the option to upgrade to a Plus version that has extra features including access to phone and email support.
The app may help you feel supported and less alone in your grief journey with access to information to help you understand your experience, helpful exercises and an online community.
Please note, this is not a substitute for in-person support, but a great addition to it.
