They work with care teams and whānau to look after medical and physical care, mental and spiritual wellbeing. You can be assured of comfort, dignity and personalised care. Services are free if your needs are approved for government funding, or you can pay privately for in-home care, or a combination of both.

End of Life Doula Alliance Aotearoa(external link)
An End of Life Doula, is a person of service, offering non-medical, holistic care, to people of all ages and stages of life, including those living with life limiting chronic or acute illness, and those supporting them. Doulas accompany, educate, empower, and advocate for them, as and when needed, in order for them to prepare well for their dying, death and beyond, so that they can live their best life, right up to the end. Hospice New Zealand(external link)
Hospice New Zealand is the national organisation representing all hospice services in Aotearoa New Zealand. Their purpose is to lead and support the hospice movement in Aotearoa New Zealand, working to ensure equity of access and consistent delivery of palliative and end of life care for New Zealanders.
