The New Zealand Red Cross provides a range of practical support services to assist refugees with the many challenges of adjusting to life in a new culture and society. The support services include the Pathways to Employment programme that helps individuals from refugee backgrounds plan their employment and ultimately find work. They also offer the Pathway to Settlement programme which assists refugees with integrating into their new community, planning for their future, housing, education, finances and navigating their new life.
