PROS CONS

The app is very simple and easy to use.

It takes user’s gender, weight and step distance into account.

The app may also measure other activity such as bike-riding and add it to the step count.

✘  The accuracy of the calories used reading is not known because there is no information describing how this calculation was done.

Comments: This app adds a simple pedometer function to the user's phone with some ability to track their progress over time. It could be a helpful way to monitor and motivate users to increase their activity levels. However the accuracy of the 'calories used' reading is not known because there is no information describing how this calculation was done.
Safety concerns: None.
New Zealand relevance: Very relevant.
