TB can be cured in almost all cases by taking medicines for TB to rid your body of the TB bacteria. You need to take several different medicines for 6 months or longer, following your healthcare provider's instructions. The most common medicines to fight TB include isoniazid, rifampicin, Rifinah and ethambutol.
