Aromatase inhibitors

Aromatase inhibitors are a hormone therapy (also called endocrine therapy). They are used to treat some types of breast cancer in women who have gone through menopause. There are 3 aromatase inhibitors available in Aotearoa New Zealand – anastrozole, exemestane and letrozole.
