Easy to use.

Fun cartoon pictures and animations that explain the exercises clearly and guide you as you do them.

Has been tested in-depth and exercises are based on robust research evidence (Otago exercise programme).

Extra games that help you to learn about other ways to reduce the risk of falling in your home.

Comments: Provides personalised fun and interactive strength and balance exercises for older people to do at home. This helps to maintain independence and reduce the risk of falls.
The app is most useful for older adults who are concerned about a decline in their physical ability and who want to remain independent at home. The exercises are shown to be particularly effective in people aged over 80 years and people who have fallen in the last year. It could also be used by care home staff or family members who want to support older people who may be frail or at risk of falls.
The app aims to improve strength, balance, mobility and confidence in older adults, and in doing so aims to reduce the risk of falls and therefore prevention of injuries which might threaten wellbeing and independence.
Safety concerns: None.
New Zealand relevance: Suitable for the New Zealand audience.
