How to get the app

This app provides a range of exercises for people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) such as mobility, cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and breathing exercises. It also contains safety tips and other practical information such as neutral spine and posture, choosing a gym ball, and a suggested exercise diary. The app provides a brief summary of the suitability of various exercise types for people with AS.

The app has a library of exercises that users can view, and each exercise has a description and a video to educate the users on form and technique.

Comments: Informative app that has plenty of exercise information and makes good suggestions for people suffering from AS. Some limitations around specific precautions for each exercise, but for the most part this is a good resource for people with AS.
Safety concerns: No. The app has a safety and information section to provide further information about AS, and some of the warnings and contraindications to using it.
New Zealand relevance: Yes.
