- “WoeBot” is an online coach that provides regular chat/check-ins to support user’s with a range of everyday mental health challenges.
“WoeBot” is an online coach that provides regular chat/check-ins to users who have downloaded the app. It utilises CBT, DBT and mindfulness strategies to support users with managing everyday stress and anxiety, as well as symptoms of depression, relationship problems, procrastination, loneliness, grief, addiction, pain management. It is available 24/7 but users need to be mindful that the app is gathering data on their experiences to help develop new treatment and resources.

Comments: The app incorporates practical and evidence-based techniques (CBT, Mindfulness, DBT) to support user’s with a range of everyday mental health challenges. The content is very relevant and easy to implement into their everyday routines. The user can access this support 24/7 via the WoeBot chat. The content is easy to read and understand.
Safety concerns: Yes - The only concern is that the app is gathering information about the user’s experiences, and the user is also asked to provide their DOB and create a log-in to access the app.
New Zealand relevance: No.
