- An app to help you track your menstrual cycle (periods).
The app allows you to track your period cycle or predict your fertile window with optional calendar reminders. The app has provision to track many symptoms and lifestyle measures. Based on the data you enter, the app's predictions of your cycle and ovulation improves. If you subscribe to the upgrade you also get access to various informative health-related articles.

Comments: The free Period Tracker Clue app offers menstrual cycle and symptom tracking in an easy to-use format. The app is well designed and includes customisable symptom tracking. It also offers optional notifications on fertile window, ovulation and periods. Users can log many other options including exercise, weight, sex and contraception to develop a comprehensive health record. Additional features available to subscribers include pregnancy tracking and more in-depth articles.
Safety concerns: No.
New Zealand relevance: This app is largely relevant to New Zealand users. (However, some forms of contraceptives mentioned in the information sections are not available here, and the recommended pap smear age range differs from that of New Zealand.)

Comments: This app is most helpful for tracking periods and period symptoms. The free version is a basic period tracking app, that is well designed and includes useful customisable cycle symptom tracking. It also includes optional notifications on fertile window, ovulation and periods.
Safety concerns: Does not alert the user if emergency contraception should be considered.
