How to get the app

The Little Lunches app provides weekly meal plans which can be tailored to meet allergy and other dietary restrictions (red meat free, pork free, sesame free, gluten free, vegetarian, egg-free, peanut-free, fish free, shellfish free, soy-free, tree nut free, dairy free). In addition it produces a weekly grocery list. Recipes are provided in written and video format and the app includes evidenced based advice on healthy eating.

Comments: This is a user friendly app which provides balanced meal ideas and recipes for young children. It supports parents and caregivers to plan and shop according to the meals selected and provides an overview of nutrition and allergen information. In order to manage some of the content not being aligned with current New Zealand advice, users are encouraged to cross check nutritional advice with a New Zealand health professional or reputable web source, like Health Navigator.
