- An app for people who struggle with their sleep.
The app has a 5-week training plan that helps you change your sleeping habits. This includes calculating your ISI sleep score, providing advice on sleep hygiene, setting up your sleep environment and managing habits that may impact on your sleep. You can monitor your sleep by making entries into the app’s sleep diary. The app uses this information to make recommendations such as time to get into bed.

Comments: Insomnia Coach has a 5-week training plan that helps users change their sleeping habits, to get better quality sleep through managing their sleep environment, behaviour and habits. It is helpful for people without a medical diagnosis (eg, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, sleep apnoea) that are known to affect sleep to change their sleep habits and improve the quality of their sleep. The app is less useful for individuals who are shift workers.
Safety concerns: None – has advice on when to seek medical help.
New Zealand relevance: Yes, relevant to a New Zealand audience.
