Comments: It's common for people who follow a gluten-free diet to experience anxiety when eating outside of the home. This short course is a good balance of education and encouragement to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to eat a gluten-free diet outside of the home safely.
A great part of this course is the way it steps you through different eating environments and the likely barriers faced. There are strategies for eateries, workplaces and family gatherings – which are all relevant. There's nothing else this comprehensive available and I recommend it for anyone who wants to better understand how they can safely navigate eating a gluten-free diet outside of the home, given the benefits of socialising with others around food.
Safety concerns: None.
New Zealand relevance: Yes.
