Gout Busters is an online course designed to help people living with gout (or supporting someone who does) better understand and manage the condition. The course consists of 8 separate short videos (each about 3–4 minutes) that participants can watch on phone, tablet, or computer.
As part of the course the participant also gets a “Gout Guide” booklet (in plain language, including real stories and practical advice) and an allopurinol factsheet explaining how uric-acid–lowering medication works and how to take it safely. Subtitles of the videos and written materials are available in English, Cook Islands Māori, Samoan, and Tongan, but the videos themselves are delivered in English.
