  • temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders causing facial discomfort or limited movement
  • asymmetrical facial movements due to nerve damage or other conditions.

It’s designed for patients undergoing rehabilitation, as well as healthcare professionals like physiotherapists and neurologists who want to monitor progress and guide recovery. The app has been developed by a team of healthcare experts, including physiotherapists and doctors, the app offers facial exercises tailored to each user's rehabilitation stage. Key features include a facial scanning tool to monitor muscle movements, a training calendar to track progress, self-control reminders, educational insights, and access to online consultations with dedicated professionals

Overall the app is very good. It has some very relevant features (facial scanning is huge, so progress can be logged and matched), but it has a cost associated with these key features.

Safety concerns: None. Users will be aware of their pre-existing conditions that may limit their suitability for this app, but in general, the safety risks are very low.
New Zealand relevance: Yes, although this app is from the UK, it is relevant to a New Zealand audience.
