What does the online program do?

Bite Back is a self-guided online wellbeing and resilience program for young people aged 13-16 years old. Bite Back uses a combination of fun, interactive activities, quizzes, animations and information across 9 positive psychology areas including gratitude, optimism, flow, meaning, hope, mindfulness, character strengths, healthy lifestyle and positive relationships. It provides information about the benefits of increasing wellbeing, strategies to develop skills in each of the positive psychology domains and links to other relevant resources.

PROS CONS 

✔ Quick, engaging 10 minute modules that can be completed on PC and mobile devices.

✔ The theme and language is suitable for the target age bracket of 13–16 years.

✔ The modules and recommendations are based on evidence based practice.

✘  Does not come in as a dedicated iOS/android app, however the website can be accessed through mobile devices and works well through a browser (eg, Chrome).
