Community treatment services(external link) Services range from individual or group counselling, medication assisted treatment, peer support services, intensive outpatient programmes, or Court referral to a drink or drug driving intervention programme.

Live-in treatment services(external link) Residential services provide a live-in situation for people who are finding it hard to manage their alcohol or drug use in their daily lives.

Phone 0800 88 88 30. Established to support Health New Zealand – Waitematā to deliver culturally appropriate, accessible, responsive and effective services to growing Asian migrant and refugee communities.

Family Mental Health Support Inc South Canterbury(external link)

A free support service that offers a range of support options that might include information and education about mental illness and addiction, problem-solving, crisis planning and liaison/advocacy with other services. Referrals come from all sources, including self referrals.

FASD-CAN(external link) unites caregivers, support whānau and individuals, strengthen communities and educate about FASD across Aotearoa.

GROW Mental Health(external link)
Mobile +64 9-846 6869. A free service providing community support groups for mental illness and personal development, face-to-face or online. Illnesses include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, addictive behaviours and psychosis.

MASH operates throughout the lower North Island in Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua, Manawatū, Whanganui, and Hawkes Bay with over 500 staff and volunteers.

Ora Toa Mauriora endeavours to provide culturally appropriate, quality care services for all people.
