Q. Tell us a little about your clinical background.
I am a Respiratory and General physician with more than 30 years in practice
Q. Why are you interested in supporting Healthify through reviewing?
I want patients and the general public to feel empowered by being able to access reliable and up-to-date medical information. Also, being able to make the right decisions and hopefully access healthcare here in Aotearoa New Zealand in the most equitable way possible.
Q. What are some of your key considerations when reviewing Healthify’s online content?
It needs to be understandable, reliable and up-to-date.
Q. Tell us something about yourself that people might not know but be interested to learn.
I have had plenty of consumer experience. I know well how it might feel "at the other side" during the healthcare experience.
