A record of detailed information about the COVID-19 vaccinations you have received, is available as an official document.

The record includes:

  • the name of the COVID-19 vaccine(s)
  • the batch numbers of each vaccine
  • the number of vaccine doses you've had
  • the country where and the date(s) when you were given the vaccine(s)
  • any overseas vaccinations that have been added to your health record based on records provided by the countries you received the vaccination in.

You aren’t required to carry this record on you in Aotearoa New Zealand.

For overseas travel you may still need an International Travel Vaccination certificate as well as your COVID-19 vaccination record.
