Clinical review

Comments: This app is for women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant and who are planning to quit smoking. This app is similar to others available in that it provides some diversion for smokers when they feel the urge. It has motivating facts and various helpful strategies. It also provides a summary of the baby’s development as a bit of extra incentive. I found the app to be clear, intuitive, easy to navigate and pleasing to view.
Safety concerns: None.
New Zealand relevance: This is an Australian app, and has an Australian Quitline number. It would be more relevant if it had local numbers.

Comments: You should have an entirely clean health message. Promoting a bottle for you can buy feeding equipment is poor. Breastfeeding is important as smoking increases SUDI risk and we should be no subliminally causing harm thorough promoting formula inadvertently.
