Comments: This app provides information on breastfeeding for mothers and troubleshoots breastfeeding problems. It includes pictures, ‘how to’ pages and information on expressing breastmilk. The app is most useful for new mothers, but is also a possible resource for health professionals less familiar with breastfeeding. It has information on how partners and whānau can support breastfeeding mama. The app has other information relating to maternal care about smoking cessation, reducing risk of SUDI (sudden unexplained death in infancy) and post natal depression. Overall the app is beautifully presented, easy to follow, has good information and is Aotearoa-specific.
Safety concerns: None.
New Zealand relevance: Yes, the app is aimed at a New Zealand audience.
