Comments: This is an excellent resource, particularly for newly diagnosed coeliacs. The 7-part online is well written and designed and uses a range of methods (audio, video, quizzes) to educate coeliacs on how to eat out safely. The tone is encouraging and supportive and the information is accurate and practical. It goes beyond information about gluten-free food to the social and mental health implications of managing safe eating out for coeliacs. As well as covering dining out in cafes and restaurants, it also provides advice on how to manage to eat safely in social situations with friends and family. It would be nice to see some use of te reo and more diverse images, but I know the latter is hard to achieve. Despite this, I would highly recommend this course for anyone needing to navigate safe gluten-free eating out.

Comments: A guide on eating out as a coeliac – great tips.
A reasonably high education level required.
Safety concerns: None.
New Zealand relevance: Suitable for a New Zealand audience, but there is no te reo Māori used in education topics.
