Comments: This course is most useful for people with newly diagnosed coeliac disease or those struggling with finding food choices, or people who can’t access dietetic support or need simplified education. Users can get an understanding of coeliac disease. They are also able to come back to the education topics to consolidate their learning at any time. Additional resources help users plan a gluten-free pantry and way of life and maintain nutritional adequacy when removing gluten. An excellent resource, especially for those who may have to wait to see specialists such as dietitians, need ongoing support or who have to travel to access health care.
Safety concerns: None.
New Zealand relevance: Suitable for a New Zealand audience, but there is no te reo Māori used in education topics.
