In-depth reviews of the Blood Pressure DB app.

Comments: The Blood Pressure DB app is a convenient way to record and share your blood pressure data with your healthcare professional.  This will help with adjustments to medication to reach your blood pressure targets and help you feel more in control of your health.

The app is most useful for motivated people who need monitoring or treatment of blood pressure and who prefer or have been advised to do this at home. You will need your own blood pressure machine and other relevant equipment if you want to record other health data.

A good way to record and track your blood pressure and related data, with the extra options to synch with Apple Health and synch with a Bluetooth enabled BP machine. I had problems registering for an account but still could use as a guest.
Safety concerns: No alert for an abnormal glucose entry – the app does not warn you if your blood glucose is too high or too low.
New Zealand relevance: Yes, relevant to a New Zealand audience.

Review: This app allows users to easily track their blood pressure, thereby helping their doctor to make better prescribing decisions.
Safety concerns: Blood pressure targets are generally individualised, taking into account age and other medical problems. This app does not allow you to take that into account.
